Britain’s number one golf magazine Today’s Golfer launches the ‘Play Better Golf’ bookazine

Today’s Golfer, Britain’s number one golf magazine announces the launch of Play Better Golf, a brand-new bookazine.

Hitting UK newsstands on Wednesday 10 September, this 132-page publication is packed with 240 expert tips designed to help golfers of all levels shoot lower scores and enjoy the game more.

Priced at £9.99 (UK) and $19.99 (US), Play Better Golf is a must-have for any golfer looking to improve their performance from tee to green.  The bookazine features simple, actionable advice from PGA-qualified coaches, structured into seven easy-to-follow sections:

  • Driving
  • Woods
  • Iron Approaches
  • Inside 120 Yards
  • Short Game
  • Bunkers
  • Putting

Whether a weekend warrior or a competitive player, Play Better Golf delivers the insights and techniques needed to elevate your game.   Each section includes tailored content to suit golfers aiming to break 100, 90, or 80, with dedicated features such as: How to Play Instruction; Fault Fixers and Drills; Strategy Advice; and Mental Game Tips.

Today’s Golfer Editor Chris Jones said: “Sometimes, all it takes is a single tip; that one, magical piece of advice that allows you to make sense of something you just couldn’t see. A game that had seemed a stubborn mystery is suddenly full of possibilities, and enthusiasm and ambition are rekindled. Golf is fun again.

At Today’s Golfer, we understand the relationship between enjoying golf and playing it well. That’s why helping golfers play a better game has been at the heart of the magazine since its launch in 1988. While the coaches and instruction trends have come and gone over the years, the problems the game sends our way have remained infuriatingly consistent: drives that fly too short or too crooked, irons that miss their mark, chipping actions that strike the big ball before the little one and easy putts made to look embarrassingly difficult.

“This book of tips will help in all of these areas, and more. We’ve pulled together some of our best coaches to deliver a treasure chest of tips, drills and ideas, each one carefully selected to make golf’s formidable challenge that little bit more manageable.”

Play Better Golf is available on all newsstands from Wednesday 10 September, or to purchase online from
