Belonging at Bauer

Belonging at Bauer is our approach to diversity and inclusion and has two main goals:

  • To ensure we are as representative as we can be of the audiences we serve
  • To create a working environment where all our people feel able to bring their whole selves to work every day

It’s part of everything we do, and all of us at Bauer are responsible for creating a welcoming culture that we all want to work in.

This important accreditation reflects our ongoing commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone – including colleagues with disabilities – feels supported, valued, and empowered.

Our Group Enable team, have been instrumental in driving this forward, raising awareness and delivering education around disability inclusion across the business.

In line with our commitments, we’ve recently:

  • Introduced image descriptions across our content to improve accessibility
  • Delivered a Deaf Awareness session including sign language – with such great feedback that we’ll be rolling out more in-person sessions for all colleagues soon!

We’re also now proud members of the Business Disability Forum, opening up even more tools and resources to help us build a more accessible and inclusive Bauer.
